What type of conditions does the chiropractor treat?

We treat a wide variety of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions including, but not limited to back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines, disc injuries, herniated discs, bulging discs, shoulder pain, TMJ, and pinched nerves. Whether you are a weekend warrior, professional athlete or desk jockey, you can rest assured that Dr. Lovett has seen many patients like yourself and has been able to get great results with them. Since 2008, Dr. Lovett has been helping adults, kids, infants, athletes, and seniors with a wide variety of conditions.

Does the chiropractor accept my insurance?

We are in network with the vast majority of health insurance plans in Colorado, including: United Health Care, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna and Medicare. Under certain circumstances, we can work with your auto insurance if you were involved in auto accident.

How does the chiropractor measure progress?

We measure progress by performing re-examinations every 10-12 visits. During these re-exams, we are measuring for spinal range of motion, orthopedic and neurologic improvements. We rely on a combination of subjective and objective testing to gauge how you are responding to the care plan and if we need to make any changes to the plan.

What is the chiropractor's availability?

We are open the following hours:
Monday 9:00-12:30 & 2:30-5:30.
Tuesday 2:30-5:30
Wednesday 9:00-12:30 & 2:30-5:30.
Thursday 9:00-12:30 & 2:30-5:30.
Friday 9:00-11:00

How do I schedule my first appointment?

Go to the top of this page and click on Schedule Your Appointment. From there, enter your information and find a time that works for you. You will receive a link to our New Patient Paperwork. You can fill this out through the link provided or fill out a paper copy in the office, which ever is easiest for you. If you prefer the paper copy, make sure to allow 15 extra minutes PRIOR to your appointment time to complete the paperwork. You can also give us a call at the office 720 747 1500 and our staff will get you scheduled for the most convenient time for your schedule.

How long do my appointments take?

Your first two appointments are more in depth and typically take 15-30 minutes. Subsequent appointments can take 10-25 minutes, depending on which services Dr. Lovett determines to be most beneficial for you. We respect your time and aim to stay on schedule.

What should I wear to my first appointment?

It helps to wear clothes that you can move around easily in. Most people can get adjusted in what they wear day to day. Dresses and skirts are not recommended, but we do have blankets for those situations.

What should I bring with me to my first appointment?

It is helpful to bring any records that pertain to your case history, as long as it is practical to obtain them. Make sure to bring your ID. Also, if you plan on using your insurance, please make sure to bring your insurance card with you.

Will X-rays be taken during my first appointment?

Yes, we typically take x-rays on the first visit. X-rays provide valuable insight into the condition of the spine that can not be felt by the chiropractor.

Will the chiropractor discuss my medical history during my first appointment?

Yes, the first step for every New Patient is to discuss their case history with Dr. Lovett. This discussion can provide valuable information that may help the chiropractor rule in or rule out certain diagnoses, as well as treatment options.

Will the chiropractor perform a physical examination during my first appointment?

Yes, every New Patient undergoes an examination with Dr. Lovett. This exam helps us identify the problem areas and how best to treat them.

Will the chiropractor discuss a treatment plan during my first appointment?

The consultation, exam and x-rays are all performed on the first visit along with an initial relief treatment. In between your first and second visit, Dr. Lovett will review the information from your exam very carefully to come up with an individualized treatment plan for your specific condition. He will go over the results of your exam and x-rays, along with your care plan at your second visit. There is no cost just to review your results with Dr. Lovett.

Will the chiropractor adjust me during my first appointment?

Yes, typically you will receive an adjustment on your first appointment. In rare cases, Dr. Lovett may decide not to adjust you due to contraindications or another reason, but those instances are rare.

How long until I can expect to see results from my first visit?

It depends. Sometimes, patients feel better after the first visit. That doesn’t mean that their problem is fixed, but it is nice to get some relief. Sometimes, it might take a couple of weeks for a patient to get some relief. Everyone is different and we don’t have a crystal ball, but we will do everything in our power to get you feeling better, as quickly as possible.
